Weekday counting
Counts Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
The calculator uses a standard Monday-Friday workweek. Saturdays and Sundays are skipped even when they fall between the start and end dates.
This is a simple weekday count, not a configurable regional work calendar.
Endpoint inclusion
Includes the start and end dates when they are weekdays.
Endpoint inclusion means a Monday-to-Friday range returns 5 business days, not 4. If the start or end date falls on a weekend, that endpoint is skipped like any other weekend day.
This rule is shown in the result basis so users can confirm the count before applying it to a policy or report.
No holiday calendar
Does not remove public holidays or custom non-working days.
Public holidays vary by country, region, employer, and year. This calculator intentionally does not include those lists, so a weekday holiday still counts as a business day here.
For payroll, legal deadlines, or service commitments, compare the weekday count with the holiday rules that apply to your situation.
